May 10th, 2019 – TTA/TIEC and the Ministry of Science and Technology complete the first Taiwanese entrepreneurs Silicon Valley immersion program hosted by SPIRE Advisory Group
Immersing 10 Taiwanese Entrepreneurs with targeted advisors and entrepreneurs to position their start-up for success
The SPIRE Advisory Group has always been advocating that the key for international start-ups in the critical ecosystem of the Bay Area is to immerse them and have them engage with the many advisors who have worked extensively in the Bay Area successful start-up ecosystem. As Hatim Chraibi, principal at SPIRE Advisory Group likes to say: “There is not a country or area that has exclusivity over great ideas. The Bay Area however is the only ecosystem with the funding and right strategic partners to achieve success.”
The idea for SPIRE Advisory Group was to create a program with the right blend of mentoring (to help entrepreneurs position their companies to meet investors and strategics’ expectations), as well as the right connections to these investors and strategics.
The program was therefore structured in a format with 4 major components:
An in-depth mentoring session with some key stakeholders that understand the expection of the market and the right stakeholders
The Taiwanese start-ups got to sit 1-on-1 with mentors who have hold executive positions in the Bay Area and could guide the entrepreneurs to structure their pitch to meet the expectation in the Bay Area
SPIRE Advisory Group and our Taiwanese hosts are forever grateful to Hicham Jorio (Neovista/SPIRE Advisory Group), Humphrey Polanen (Neovista/Tepkea), Suresh Pai (Lamamed), Marwan Berrada (Shifamed), Rachid Salik (Band of Angels), Jasmine Shih (Counterpointe Ventures), Mehdi Sif (Dell Technologies) for engaging with these promising start-ups.
